By sponsoring a child it will give you a real link into the Our World and allow you to make a difference to some children’s lives.
In conjunction with our projects we also run child sponsorship schemes. The idea of the sponsorship developed, as there is a need for some form of revenue funding to support the children at any new project that we might provide. We are conscious that through our sponsorship none of our projects should become reliant solely on our support, but as a result of circumstances none the less require a certain level of assistance. For example there is no point in rebuilding family homes and schools if children can’t afford the basics to survive. To ensure that projects don’t become reliant on our support we cap the number of children we sponsor relevant to that project. This will normally be around twenty five (25) children but may vary depending on the size of the specific project.
Our Child sponsorship allows one child in need to connect with one compassionate person like you! Becoming a sponsor means giving children from ‘Our World’ the chance to grow up healthy, educated and safe – forever changing their life and future. You just might find that it changes you, too.

- Medication and medical assistance
- Food
- Education
- Clothing
Sponsorship money can divided amongst several of the children involved in any one project. This ensures that we don’t develop a two-tier system where some children have more than others. However you can be assured that the child you are sponsoring would always be taken care through your donation.
How do you sponsor a child and how much does it cost:
All you have to do is fill out the TOUCH standing order (S/O) form and return it to your bank. Then return the TOUCH sponsorship scheme form to the scheme Co-coordinator.
It costs €25.00 a month or €300.00 yearly.
This will signal to them that the S/O has been set up. They will then write to you with the name, photo and details of the child you will be sponsoring.
We guarantee that all of your sponsorship money will go direct to the relevant project.
There will be no administration costs or any other fees deducted from your donation and we will deliver it directly to the people in charge on the ground. This ensures that the full value of your donation will go to the children.
Because our projects are involved with orphans and vulnerable children in a physically hostile environment” unfortunately some of the children being sponsored may die.
You should be aware of this and be prepared for the fact that the child you are sponsoring might die. We hope this does not deter you from sponsorship but strengthen your resolve to ensure that these children have some quality of life no matter what.
